To design a front cover, contents and double page spread of a new music magazine. All images and text used must be original, a minimum of four images must be used.
Language- The main cover story is a bit of a pun on the masthead 'the sounds of 2015'. the word 'HUGE' when talking about the pull out posters is an over-exaggeration as the magazine only have 6 posters per magazine unless stated otherwise, this is to draw the audiences attention and to persuade the audience to buy the magazine.
Institution- Rocksound magazine is a London, UK based rock magazine aimed at people interested in that genre of music. Rocksound also publish online and have 275000 unique users and 585000 people reading the physical copy. the magazines are distributed by marketforce.
Ideology- 59% females and 41% males read this and the average age is 15-24 year olds.
Audience - Rocksounds audience is 18% more women than men, the magazine is aimed at teenagers and young adults (15-14) year olds and there are over 585,000 readers PCM
Representation- Bands and artists within the rock music scene are often represented in rocksound magazine, they are portrayed in a positive way as the magazine mainly focuses on their music. You would not expect to see a pop singer in a magazine like this.
