Prezi is a good from for presenting this area.
-Define what is meant by genre.
-State a variety of different examples of music genres. (at least 20)
-(Choose 4 key genres you want to show/explain in more detail)
-Mood boards to represent general iconography/ interests related to genre
-Exiting magazines related to genre
-Audience profile of who listens to that music including: gender, social class, income, age and other interests excluding music.
-Artists/ music videos of that genre
-Summary of research/ findings
-All areas need to be explained well and shown in a creative

Prezi presentation on the 4 genres I have chosen to explain in more detail;

Moodboards to show iconography of music genres;

Iconography of alternative music, Rock, Metal, Pop Punk, Punk Rock music etc

Audience Profile of alternative/rock music:
This specific genre is stereotyped to be associated with white British males between the ages of 16 and 25. Their interests include going to gigs, listening to music, playing video games, spedning time on social media and spending time in public with friends.

These people stereotypically dress in black skinny jeans, converse or vans, band t-shirts and have piercings and long hair.

This is the perfect target audience for magazines like Kerrang! and Rocksound because this audience would like to read about upcoming gigs and new music.

Pierce The Veil are an example of a band within this genre;
 The band also portray the stereotypical audience profile of the genre.
